1 Month Old

I can't believe that my little girl is already a month old. Crazy to see how quickly they grow. She's a very good baby. Aubreigh lets mama sleep about 3-4 hour at a time during the night and then eats for about 15-20 minutes then back to bed we both go. You know we both need our beauty sleep, more so mama than Aubreigh... Things we have done this past month, well it would consist of eating, sleeping, and pooping my pants and making mama and daddy change my clothes 3 times a day. Ok so that only happened to them once. I've discovered my hands since I'm starting to put them in my mouth now and suck on them, sorry mom that I won't take my pacifier which you can take away, but you can't cut my hand off I need it.

I've already met one of my grandpa's, my mama's dad. He came to visit us all the way from TX. Yes, he drove the entire way up and back just to see my little face. My grandma Susan is patiently waiting to meet me as she calls all the time to see how I'm doing and wants my mama to send pictures atleast once a week to her. I can't blame her, I'm just such a cute little girl.. Can't help but to love me you know. I will be seeing the Navy nurse sometime this week or next to get my stats, but mama and daddy weighed me the other day here at home and was around 9 lbs already. I'm a good eater, yes my mama can tell you that much.

I celebrated my first Easter this year and it was a good one. We went to church that morning then off to our friends house in gales ferry to the Cefaratti's house. It was fun, well as fun as it can be for me since I don't do too much right now. But we enjoined just spending time with them and other friends of theirs. Joey's dad was in town from the good ol state of TX. He's a hoot just like his son. My great grandma Nigo and great aunt Essie sent me a cute duck for Easter. It's a gund duck that sings "Splish Splash I'm takin a Bath." I love to watch it especially when I'm upset.

My mama has been working with me on using the bottle. We were told to start at a young age so I wouldn't resist it later since I will be going to daycare. Mama isn't ready for that just yet and keeps praying that I won't have to attend until we get back from our trip to Tx. I started using an Avent bottle which I took ok for the first 2-3 weeks I was using it. Then I started giving mama a hard time and fighting her about taking. I'm now taking the playtex nurser bottle with no problems, I like the laytex nipple better than the silicone one that was on the avent bottle. So now my mama can leave the house while daddy stays with me at home. Mama needs her alone time too, I need her to stay sane for my sake.. Who else is going to feed me!!
